The other night at Target, Jackie and I decided to buy baby’s first bedtime storybook. We’ve been reading that by now the baby should be able to hear sounds happening outside the womb. So the first book that caught my eye was the classic Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. So for the past three nights I’ve been reading Goodnight Moon to my wife’s belly. It’s the perfect book to read to the baby so that it can get used to the soothing sound of my voice ;). Also I thought it would be fun to read the story in my best Christopher Walken impression 😉 But Jackie said, “No, that would scare the baby.” I still did it while she was sleeping, LOL, wink wink. C’mon now you give it a try: Goodnight MOOn! Now change the emphasis on a different syllable GOOd NIght moon!
